Open Playground Showcase app for iPhone and iPad

Open Playground Showcase enables you to receive bluetooth-triggered notifications from the Sensorberg Beacon Management Platform whenever you are in proximity of your own Beacon devices or whenever you are in proximity of Open Playground Beacon devices. This makes the app an ideal showcase for the core technology itself, as well as particular feature demonstrations or site-specific Beacon deployments.

Notifications:
All you need to do is enter your API Key to connect to your Sensorberg account. You can scan the API Key easily via a QR code scanner. The app will then receive all previously configured notifications for your own Beacon devices or of Beacon devices at the Open Playground whenever you enter their broadcast radius.

Beacon Scanner:
The app will continuously scan for and display available Sensorberg Beacon devices within range.

Beacon Simulator:
Open Playground Showcase can also turn your iOS device itself into a Beacon. With this feature, you are now able to test an end-to-end discovery scenario with two ore more iOS devices, without having a purpose-built Beacon device at hand.

Please note: Open Playground Showcase requires Bluetooth 4.0-compatible iOS devices, i.e. Apple iPhone 5S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 4S, iPad (3rd & 4th gen), or iPad Mini (all generations). Dont forget to enable Bluetooth in your devices preferences.
